Halfway Through Summer

This summer has been full of reflections, problem solving, and looking forward to the exciting programs we will be adding this year. While (shockingly enough) your teachers talk and plan all summer long I am especially excited for the time we will all meet together and finalize our coming school year. During this time we are diligent to assess each student, teacher, and staff member to establish what our needs are for the coming year. My favorite part is looking at those needs and then implementing something new so that we can rock the new year.At the end of each year I look back and I am amazed at everyone’s progress and then begin to wonder what more could I have done? The summer is exciting because instead of wondering how I could have done more,I get to actually implement more! We are so fortunate to have a staff that is willing to do whatever it takes in order to watch a student succeed and the year 2020/2021 will not disappoint!!

Happy Summer :)

As it is now summer and I am able to finally sit back and reflect on the year all I can think is that I am so honored to be a part of such an amazing blessing! Our school has changed so many lives and offers so many opportunities to grow that I wake up everyday so excited to go to work! It continually amazes me that God would choose me to start such a great place for our students to grow and learn. Many of our students come from a background of rejection, fear, and confusion and it is such an honor to watch them grow from those feelings to feelings of joy, acceptance, and leadership. All students can and will succeed if given the opportunity and it is so awesome watching God mold them by using our amazing teachers and families to shape them into who they were created to be. As I continue to use the summer to find new and fun ways to learn with our students next year I will also be using this summer to sit and pray for each of our current students as well as the new students who will be joining us. I will be praying that as we start into a new year, that God will be their guide. That he will lead them to accomplish all that he has in store for them, and that they will find and recognize the gifts and talents he has given them.

Have a fantastic summer creating life long memories, students and families!!! I will see you all August 31st!!
